The National Tourist Area of Tejeda

This is probably the largest of the commercial centres in Playa del Ingles and is right in the middle of the resort. By day is is surprisingly quiet, built on four levels and around a huge open-air-square on the bottom level where there is a park area and lots of good shops. One of the best electical shops is called Visanta. All the Spanish banks are here too, and of course, all the bars and restaurants.

At around 8.00 pm each night, the bars start to fill up and you can drift the early evening away chilling out over a drink as you watch the world go by. Rickies Caberet bar, with its nightly show is always popular, The show starts about 9.00pm each night. with a Karaoki (if you like that sort of thing) to get the audience warmed up. At about 11.30pm the cabaret drag show starts - not to be missed!

Clubs generally stay open until about 5 am weekdays - later, or earlier depending on your veiwpoint, till 6 am at weekends.The atmosphere is always friendly.
